Silvia Amancei and Bogdan Armanu
Silvia Amancei and Bogdan Armanu are an artistic duo living and activating in the city of Iasi, Romania. Working together since 2012, the two artists have materialized a series of solo exhibitions, exploring the paradigm of life exploitation: "If Then What After" (Baden, 2019); "What Past? What Future?" (Linz, 2017); "Return to Spaceship Earth" (Bucharest, 2017); "Depression, Uncertainty and other symptoms of Mortality" (Lodz, 2016); "Clinical Architectures for a Compositionist Future (Part II)" (Iasi, 2016); "(No)Future" (Eckernforde, 2015); "No Hope For a Future" (Iasi, 2015); "Metropia" (Iasi, 2014). Their works have been present in numerous collective exhibitions from which the most noteworthy are: "Go, Stop, Stay" (Debrecen, 2019); "Capital's Time Machine" (Bucharest, 2018); "Baywatch" (Berlin, 2018); "Alternative Facts" (Stuttgart, 2018); "Odessa Biennial" (Odessa, 2017); "In Times of Hope and Unrest" ( Bucharest, 2015); "Between Democracies 1989-2014", (Johannesburg, 2015); "Appearance & Essence", 1st Timisoara Art Encounters Biennale (Timisoara, 2015); "CLOSE-UP" (Prague, 2015).
